    Description

    Several 12" x 17" sheets including prints of engravings & text from 1890's edition of Frank Leslie's Illustrated Famous Leaders and Battle Scenes of the Civil War. (No. 1). This lot includes title page, preface, introduction, dedication and copyright page. Most of the views were taken from drawings of actual war scenes and were likely used in the Frank Leslie's Weekly from the 1860's. The large volume of illustrations and text was published by Mrs. Frank Leslie in 1896.
