Description
Original period print of the 10th President of the United States of Americaby “ N. Currier of 2 Spruce St. N. Y.”.
The print is in it’s original period wooden frame and with the beautiful antique wavy glass with bubbles and imperfections. Slight staining to the bottom of the print, overall extremely good ( see posted photos ). The print dates to before 1857 when Nathaniel Currier took on a partner, James Merritt Ives, and changed the company name to “ Currier and Ives “.

s. It is constructed with square headed nails at each exterior corner. The back has a newer acid free backboard applied to help conserve and preserve the antique print.

John Tyler became the tenth President of the United States (1841-1845) when President
William Henry Harrison
died in April 1841. He was the first Vice President to succeed to the Presidency after the death of his predecessor.
