Original Civil War Engraving - Engagement between Gunboats - 1862Title:
(below image) "Desperate Engagement, April 24th, 1862, between the United States gunboat "Varuna", Commander Boggs, and the Confederate steam ram "J.C. Breckinridge" and the gunboat "Governor Moore".
A nice clean and bright original print with no defects. As usual, images on the back side. This early print taken from Frank Leslie's Illustrated History of the Civil War.
