Description
Original Framed Antique Steel Engraving - General George Armstrong CusterEngraved by John Rogers (Amer. 1808 - 1888) - Facsimile signature.
A wonderful portrait of this historic American figure. The engraving is taken from an original photograph by famed photographer Mathew Brady which he took in his Washington D.C. studio, believed to be in 1865. Custer rests his left arm on his sword while leaning on a cannon barrel.
The Adirondack frame is an antique with white ceramic corner buttons. Both the frame and print are in excellent condition. Fitted under glass and ready to hang.
Inside frame size is: 10" x 8" Outside overall dimensions: 13-1/2" x 11-1/2"
