Harry M Fraser Model 500-1 Cutting Machine in Excellent Condition  Very Lightly Used
This is a model 500-1 with the blue/green color found on the earlier model machines.  It is normally used to slit fabric into evenly sized strips for rug making.
This machine appears to have been very lightly used.  It is in near new condition with a few small signs of light operation
but no signs of serious use or abuse..(see pictures)
The #6 cutting wheel is in near new condition and cut the strips shown in the pictures.  The pressure wheel, pressure adjustment knob, crank lever, and all other parts of this machine are in excellent lightly used condition. Very few if any signs of use.  No corrosion or other damage.
All of the metal parts are shiny new with no corrosion, or other signs of heavy use.  The plastic crank handle has no cracks chips or or other signs of damage on it and the pressure adjustment knob/wheel is in perfect unmarked condition.  There are no major scratches, chips, corrosion or other signs of use.(see all pictures)
It operates as it should and created the strips shown in the pictures when I ran a piece of paper and cotton material thru it.(see pictures)
This machine has a # 6 cutting wheel installed that cuts 3  3/16"
strips at a time.
There are many different cutting wheels also available on Ebay for making different size strips.
Please compare this machine to the other machines you see for sale.  Some are in great condition but many are in poor shape with corroded pressure and cutting wheels that are going to need new or refurbished parts to work as they should.  This is essentially a new machine that is complete and working perfectly.  Included is the 9/16" wrench shown to allow easy cutting wheel changes.
There is a new reprint of the original instruction sheet/information included with this machine.  (see pictures)  In addition there are some Youtube videos out there that are also a great source of operating and care for these machines.
