Description
Original Civil War Era Engraving - Lincoln in Richmond - 1865Title:
(below image) reads: "President Lincoln riding through Richmond, Va. April 4th. 1865, amid the enthusiastic cheers of the inhabitants."
A nice clean print with just a hint of time-toning. Margins sufficient to allow matting without obscuring any of the image. There's another illustration on the back side, but the title doesn't show and there's very little margin at the top. I've shown a pic of it.
There's a couple of very small tears in the right margin which I've repaired using (almost) invisible archival tape made specifically for that purpose.
Paper size: 9-5/8" x 9-3/4" Image size: 8-3/4" x 9-1/4"
