Original Civil War Era Engraving - Sheridan in the Shenandoah - 1864Title
(below image) reads: "Sheridan's Campaign in the Valley of the Shenandoah - Battle of Summit Point, Sunday, August 21 st. 1864"
A nice small engraving. Excellent condition with even, light time-toning overall. Slightly smaller illustration on the back side - again of Sheridan in the Shenandoah Valley, fighting Duffie's Cavalry. I've photographed both - take your pick.
Paper size: 5-1/2" x 10" Image size: 4-3/4" x 9-1/4" Image - verso: 4" x 9-1/4"
