Original Civil War Engraving - Interior of the Iron Clad 'Monitor
No titled printed below the image but individual titles for the eight separate engravings describe each and with two small portraits of (I assume) officers of the 'Monitor'.
Excellent clean and sharp full page illustration from Harpers Pictorial History of the Civil War.  Some very faint dampness stains on the outer edges of the top and right side margins, not affecting the image.  There is another small illustration on the back side of the iron clad 'Virginia' with text, and a small portrait of Thomas Rowland.
