Hard to find vintage print of Mort Kunstler's "Lee's Old War Horse" Generals Longstreet and Lee, Gettysburg, PA July 3, 1863.Civil War Military Print. 16" x 13"
Looking over the broad Pennsylvania farm fields, the two generals discuss the tactics for the forthcoming attack. They have ridden up Seminary Ridge, arriving as the last sputtering rounds are fired from A.P. Hill's artillery in a futile morning duel with Union gunners on Cemetery Hill. General Robert E. Lee listens intently to his corps commander, General James Longstreet, and waits anxiously as his "Old War Horse" scouts the enemy's battle line. Both realize that Cemetery Ridge is a strong position. With total confidence in his men, Lee feels that the Union line can be broken. General Longstreet, however, has his doubts.
